We are looking to have another LAN party Saturday June 9 to Sunday June 10.
We schedule our Lan Parties to start at 12:00 pm on saturday and to run until 12:00 pm on Sunday. In reality people show up when they want and we ussually turn in for the night between 5-7 am. Time in the morning is dedicated to getting everything take down and cleaned up.
We have yet to really determine if this is the exact date, so that can change and we have also not begun to look at the desired location.
I think the main reason Bawls let us down the at our last 2 events is because they were having a complete overhaul done on there system. Now that it is finished I think that we should give them one more chance. After all everyone loves the stuff even if they do sometimes slip up... Here is there new LAN Party site.
Well, Bawls finally has screwed up for the last time. The last two LAN parties bawls was supposed to send out swag and/or a bawls discount, but they never pulled through so we ended up having to fund an alternate energy drink purchase.
So, as much as we love bawls, they just are not a reliable sponsor. If you know of a good energy drink that can get us a good deal we would love to hear it.
I just deleted every user that was noticeably a porn or Viagra spammer. So if I accidentally deleted you, sorry, just rejoin.

Well... Actually.... You cant rejoin yet. I kinda broke the register form when I was trying to update our Anti-Spam measures... I will try to have it back up and running by tommorrow.
*update* Well, I turned the old image verification back on, but we were able to keep some of the new anti-spam features turned on. I am going to be working to re-implement the better image verification, but it is going to take some time to figure out.
We have had a very large problem with bots signing up at the site and posting porn and viagra spam on the forums. In order to stop this I just disabled the forums. However now that we are starting to play BF2 more we turned the forums back on.
In doing this I have started to look for another fix to our spam bot problem. The first thing I did was create a LSG forum group. If you are not in this group you will not be able to post in the forums. To become a member send a PM to me on the forums.
Also, all new members register on the forums will have to be approved by an admin, either me or Blauvster.
*Update*
I have made it so that if you are not currently a member of LSG member you can join it on your own. Go to "Usergroups" and then in the drop down select "LSG member" then click "View Information" there should be a button that says "Join Group" I will then be sent an email saying you want to join the group and I should approve it within 24 hours.
If you are new to the site, I will put you in the correct group when I approve your registration.

Well, it appears it is not liking Admin confirmation of new accounts, so we will stick with just email confirmation. This means all new users will need to either PM me or Blauvster to get posting privleges or add themselves to the LSG Member Usergroup.
